Puppy! (or Kitty!)
An exclamation used to point out the presence of an animal that is definitely NOT a puppy (or kitty). Goes back to basic children’s learning and word association where this is one of the first words they use (being a familiar household pet), but initially use it to designate any animal they see. A good way to point out the existence of certain unwanted animals (spiders, snakes, javalinas, etc.) to unsuspecting friend/family member/loved one/student/neighbor/etc. “Puppy!” (pointing to scorpion on bathroom floor, pointing to large brown bear charging tent, etc).
