Spoken when hungry and in the company of anyone even vaguely geeky. Experts mimic the slightly clipped quality and vaguely American intonation of the original game’s speech synthesis.
Although in the game any of the four characters – warrior, valkyrie, elf or wizard – could need food badly, nobody ever references the other three.
Other single-syllable words are sometimes substituted for “food”, usually “booze”.
