Was that a macro?!?
This is the macro for people who “don’t get” macros. It’s
from a former boss, whom I told about macros. After that, he seemed to think
everything was a macro. Someone might say “nice going” in response
to someone stumbling and my boss would excitedly ask, “was that a macro?!?”
(a macro is not a wisecrack). If in the same situation someone said, "nice
play, Shakespeare,” he’d ask again, “was that a macro?!?”
(a macro is not a cliche).
