[Dangerous Film Club; “It’s Not As It Seems” (1987)]
“It’s Not As It Seems” was a black-and-white short on the Graham Chapman-hosted film compilation show “Dangerous Film Club.” In it, the protagonist isn’t feeling well, utters the above phrase, then staggers to the street and spontaneously jettisons his liver onto the pavenment – where it is run over by a car. Spoken during physical trauma or after hearing poor jokes.
