Big beautiful women.
One day a teenager solicitor arrived at my friend’s doorstep, trying to sell magazine subscriptions. He thought he had our number:
“You could subscribe to Big Beautiful Women ... it’s like Penthouse,
but they’re bigger women ...”
“And they’re probably wearing clothes, right?”
“Well ... yeah.”
After wearing him down awhile, we finally got what we wanted – he showed
us the list of towns he’d been to, and described being rousted from
a few of them by the local police. Afterward, we’d use the phrase “Big
... beautiful ... women” to describe any sort of disingenuous sales
pitch.
