On December 13, 1910, a one Alexander Aitken filed a patent for a "Pleasure Railroad". This document is an examination of that patent.

My first encounter with this patent dates back to 1988, while I was perusing the "drawings of patents" book for 1911. I made a copy of the Pleasure-Railroad patent picture and filed it away, intending to do more research "later". April 2000 rolled around and... ah, I'll finish this note later.
