this is the otto home page. no account is needed to view this page, it is strictly informational.
the 'request' link is how you access the song request interface
currently playing song, what artist it is by, which album it is on, and who owns the album
the queue of upcoming songs
if a song is a request, the requestor's name appears here
current icecast listeners are listed here

this is the otto request interface. users are prompted for a username and password before they can bring up this page.
the row of letters along the top is used to browse the artists in the database. # lists all the non-alphabetic artists, va is for various artists, and st is for soundtracks.
clicking on one of the letters will list all the artists filed under that letter here. the gray numbers indicate the number of albums for that artist, no number means exactly 1 album.
clicking on an artist will display all the albums and songs for that artist here. shortcut links to each album are listed below the artist name. pressing here will pick three random tracks across all albums for this artist.
clicking on a song title adds it to the queue of songs to be played. the songs on each album are listed in the order they appear on the album. the owner of the album is also shown. if the current user owns the album, then the songs will display the download icon . pressing will prompt the user asking them if they want to queue up the entire album. pressing here will pick three random tracks from a given album.
the current song and the queue of upcoming songs are listed here (the various queue operations are described below)

this is the otto search interface. results are shown for a search on the word 'bug'.
you type a search string into the text box and then press return to search the database of songs
the artists matching your search string appear here. clicking on the artist name will take you to that artist.
the matching albums appear here. you can click on the album names to go directly to a given album.
song titles that match your search appear here. you can click on a song title and it will be added to the queue of songs to be played.
in the queue, the first entry is the currently playing song. pressing on a song will remove it from the queue. pressing on the currently playing song will cause it to stop and the next song in the queue will start. pressing will put the currently playing song into the 'trash' list (more on lists below). pressing will shuffle the order of all the requests in the queue. will move a request one position up in the queue.

otto can keep lists of songs for you. it is very easy to add and delete songs for a given list.
clicking on the 'lists' link will allow you to view and create lists.
the names of all the lists you have created appear here. the gray numbers indicate how many songs are in each list. the lists that appear below the gray line are lists of songs which are excluded from being picked randomly. press to create a new list.
clicking on a list name locks that list into this box here. tracks can be then be added and deleted from that list. pressing here causes the list to no longer be locked in.
clicking on a list name also causes the songs in that list to be shown here. pressing here will add three random songs from the list to the queue.
and icons will appear next to song titles whenever a list is locked in. this is how songs are added to or removed from the list.
