Derived as sort of verbal shorthand for the purposefully-moronic superfluous conversational badminton game among our deliquent posse:
Before:
“So I was thinking maybe we could stop over at the bookstore for awhile and –”
“No. I’ve got a better idea. Let’s go to the bookstore instead.”
“Your plan has merit, but I’m thinking more along the lines of visiting ... the bookstore.”
After:
“We should go to the bookstore. Also: bookstore.”
I call this phrase The Identity Macro.
