Duuude, club!
[Hardees TV commercial]
Somewhere between 1983-1986, Hardees ran a relentless television campaign advertising a trio of yummy new sammiches, utilizing the off-screen voice talent of Don Pardo. When Don announced the new chicken club, a stereotyped surfer guy appeared in front of the camera and approvingly uttered the banal response. He was then literally sandwiched between two human-sized pieces of bread (!?), and, one assumes, suffocated. Used either as a greeting, a way of acknowledging your own stupidity, or to point out surfer stereotypes.
