In the mid-70s, Dial Media began a relentless series of television commercials for products nobody really needed. The Ginsu knife, the Miracle Slicer, and other low-cost appliances were shown with an array of other bonus merchandise, each bracketed by the announcers shotgun plea (But wait, theres more!) and repeated query (Now how much would you pay?).
