J.J. is the shady strongman beeper guy they tried to nail in the Heidi Fleiss documentary. All of J.J.’s commercials end with him saying, in some sort of foreign accent (I think Israeli maybe), “because I’m J.J.! I’m dee OWNER! and ... I’m ... da ... KING of beepers!” (he pronounces “beepers” something like “BEE-pears”)
This is something one says in the same kinds of situations where one might
say, “because it seemed like a good idea at the time,” such as
when someone demands, “Why did you ... step on my foot / eat my gardenias
/ trade the family cow for ‘magic beans’?” "because
I’m J.J.! I’m dee OWNER! And ... I’m ... da ... KING of beepers!”
