The part that really grinds me about paying $36 to the City of Berkeley isn’t the money, nor the sweet little street-sweeping scam they have where the cop drives just ahead of the street-sweeper – no, it’s that the check has to be made out to “City of Berkeley Customer Service.” But yeah, I guess I was served. So maybe it’s the money. No, wait, it’s the “service” thing again.
